The PUNCTURISTS are a female fronted four piece Melodic Garage Punk band from Barnsley in South Yorkshire, England, UK.
The band are currently:
Gail Townsend – Singer
Patrick Crawford – Guitar
Dale Farrow – Bass
Terry Coles – Drums
Although the original line-up was slightly different with Carl (original drummer) and Pat sharing vocal duties. It was this line-up who recorded the 7 track mini album ‘Punk Tourists’ released on Dead Swan Records in 2022.
The latest line-up have recorded five brand new tracks in Barnsley (November 2023). The main aim is to get something out there with Gail as the main vocalist, and it has gone down extremely well. Also the new bass player Dale and our new drummer, Terry, needed to be represented on our latest recordings. We plan to go back soon and do five or six more tracks, and put an album out in 2024.
